The area to be viewed at this location is the back garden, the front garden  being renovated at this time. The back garden consists of mature trees, both evergreen and deciduous, as well as grassed areas. This results in some areas being subjected to very deep shade while others are very open and exposed. Since all areas have been planted, there is a significant variety of perennials and shrubs. During the course of the day, the garden provides the opportunity to see the differing effects of light and shadow on trees and perennial borders as the sun moves across the lot. The use of man-made mounded areas, together with the natural slopes in the garden, is an interesting feature.
