This lovely English garden is as restful as it is charming. It is large and is edged on three sides by a perennial border held in place by staggered layers of rock or stone. In difficult growing areas, the rock is terraced to better these conditions. Many lovely, well-known perennials are housed here. In addition, there are eleven island beds in this backyard, with each one providing additional floral space. Two of these are dedicated to roses. One highlights lavender and others contain a mix of annuals and/or perennials. There are two patios with sitting facilities, one of which surrounds a water garden. A group of weeping trees provides interest in this vicinity and a wisteria-covered archway furnishes an appropriate entrance.
